Cardamom Halva Cookies

w/ Chocolate Chunks

 

These cookies make life better! I am very picky when it comes to baked good I prefer homemade but when I travel I look for the healthiest choices. These are now my favorite travel cookies. Make them a day or two before you travel! Your later self will thank you!


Ingredients:


1 ½ Cups Almond Flour ½ Cup Oat Flour ½ Tbsp of Baking Soda

½ Baking Powder ½ Cup Coconut Sugar 1 Tbsp Coconut Oil 2 Flax Eggs (2 Tbsp Flax meal w/ 5 Tbsp water. Let sit till it’s a gooey egg-like consistence) 1/2 Cup Nut Milk ( I used Almond) 2 oz of Halva from seedandmill

½ Tbsp of Cardamom Powder 1 tsp of Cinnamon ½ Bar of your favorite Chocolate! I used Compartes Vegan Kale! (for the top of the cookies)

Pinch of salt


Directions:

Preheat oven to 375°F degrees.

In a small bowl make the 2 flax "eggs" (2 Tbsp Flax meal w/ 5 Tbsp water. Let sit till it’s a gooey egg-like consistence).

In a separate bowl add the dry ingredients. Stir well & add in the wet ingredients. Lay out a baking sheet on a pan & form the cookies into desired size. Add chocolate to the top of the cookie. Make sure to press it in. Bake in the oven for for 15 minutes!
