Berry Tahini Smoothie

w/ Chocolate & Spinach

 

Tahini is one of my favorite things IN THE WORLD! If you don't know what Tahini is, it is a paste made from grounded Sesame Seeds. It is used in recipes around the middle east & is the key ingredient in Hummus. I love the creamy texture it brings to every dish. I use it to make Tahini cookies or just put it on a few sliced apples. I even make vegan cheese sauce using Tahini!

This stuff is liquid gold!

My new obsession is to use it in smoothies!


Ingredients:

½ Cup Oat Milk (or dairy free milk of choice) 1 Frozen Banana ¼ Cup Frozen Raspberries 1 Handful of Frozen Spinach 3 Tbsp Tahini (I used mightysesameco squeeze bottle.) 2 Tbsp Cocoa Powder 1 Tbsp Hemp Seeds Optional: Top with berries & enjoylifefoods dark chocolate chunks! What a treat!


Directions:

Place the half a cup of oat milk into the blender. Then add all the other ingredients except the chocolate chunks & some extra berries. Blend at high until smooth. Place into a cup & use your favorite eco-friendly straw!
